Introduction

DERI Trade currently offers trading on the price of 2 commodities, at leverage ranges of 1x–50x for XAU/USD (Gold) and 1x–50x for XAG/USD (Silver).Please refer to the Pair List page for a full list of the currently offered pairs.

Market Times

Just like forex markets, the commodities market is not always open. Times are referenced in ET (New York time).

Monday	Open apart from 5 PM - 6 PM
Tuesday	Open apart from 5 PM - 6 PM
Wednesday	Open apart from 5 PM - 6 PM
Thursday	Open apart from 5 PM - 6 PM
Friday	Open until 5 PM
Saturday	Closed all day
Sunday	Open from 6 PM

Additionally, there are the following holidays where market are closed:

1. January 1st - 2nd

2. December 25th - 27th

Gaps

As the price of commodities can change while the market is closed, this can result in gaps, where the market opens at a different price than the price it closed at the last time it was opened. Due to this, we cannot guarantee stop losses, so you must be careful with keeping trades open while the market is closed. It could be liquidated because of a big gap in the opposite direction once the market opens. It could also result in a bigger win than you initially planned, as volatility works on both sides. Please consider this when using high leverage.
